Finley! {Cincinnati Newborn Photographer}

Meet Finley. I met this little sweetie on Sunday, when she was just 11 days old. Fresh & new. I never know how newborn shoots are going to go. Some babies snooze away for the entire shoot, but some want to just check things out, making it difficult to get good photos. But Miss Finley … easy peasy. She must have taken notes from her big sis, Aubry, who was also super sweet and well behaved for the entire shoot. It is pretty clear how much Aubry already loves her “baby little sister.” I am sure they will grow up to be best buds. Here’s a sneak peek at their shoot!

Okay, okay … I know I’m supposed to be on maternity leave. But I’m just trying to keep my mind busy until this little guy decides to make his debut. I typically don’t share too many personal photos on my blog, but I wanted to share a recent shoot I did with Sullivan. He just turned two (can’t even believe it … tear) and just loves to play ball. So naturally, I wanted to get some pictures of the little guy on a ball field. I loved how the photos turned out and wanted to share with you!
I would love to get into doing more “themed” sessions like this with YOUR little ones. If you’re interested, just let me know! Whatever your little tikes are into, I am sure we can come up with a fun shoot idea for them!!!

Meet Cristina & Justin. These two are about to become first time parents in 10 weeks or less. Eeee!!! Cristina & Justin were high school sweethearts and are about to celebrate their 5th wedding anniversary. But what’s really so great is that Cristina is one of my besties. She and I were random roommates during our freshman year at Miami University. And we quickly became best friends. She not only stood by my side as a bridesmaid at my wedding, but I did the same for her. She has also stood by my side during some of the best and worst times of my life. I couldn’t be any happier that she is about to become a mom. I know she will be a great one. I am also selfishly thrilled that she’s having a baby boy and is due just weeks after my little guy. Here’s to hoping that our little men will also be roommates one day at Miami. Fingers crossed? 🙂 Cristina, you are one gorgeous mama to be. I can’t wait to meet your little man! Here’s a sneak peek…

Meet Alex, Nathan, and Claire. These cuties are my husband’s little cousins. Good looks must run in their family, eh? 🙂 Miss Claire just celebrated her first birthday and her mama wanted to get some photos of her and her brothers to capture this sweet time in their life. It was super hot and humid, but these guys didn’t mind. All three of these little loves were so well behaved. The heat didn’t even phase them. This whole family is so photogenic. Especially Claire. I just couldn’t get enough of those sweet lil grins! Here’s a sneak peek …

Meet Jade. This little princess just turned one! She had quite a busy day today and apparently was so excited for it that she couldn’t sleep last night. Ruh roh! We had her photo shoot this morning and then she was headed home for her very first birthday party. A paris themed party … sounds girly and perfect for this little gal! She must have been so pumped for the party that she just wanted to rush through her shoot. She just wasn’t that into it. I get it – cake trumps photos any day! However, she did cooperate enough for us to get some adorable pictures to capture this special day in her life. Happy birthday, Jade! I hope your party was a blast. Here’s a sneak peek …

Meet Brooklyn (Brooke). This little sweetie just celebrated her half birthday. A whopping 6 months old! I met her when she was just days new. For her newborn shoot, she was one tough cookie. She really made me work. However, today … easy peasy. At least for a while. We met up this morning at the park on what had to be one of the most beautiful mornings we’ve had in a while. And she was all smiles. It was like she had been practicing for this shoot for weeks. We did pretty well for about the first 30 minutes or so and then she started to get impatient with me. I can’t blame her. It was almost naptime. At 8 1/2 months pregnant, I totally get the whole nap thing. Luckily she held out long enough to capture some sweet smiles with all of the accessories her mommy brought along! Here’s a sneak peek …

Meet Orion. I’ve had the pleasure of taking his photos since he was just a teeny little peanut, fresh & new. Now he’s almost a big one year old. I love watching my little clients grow, but just hate that they grow so quickly! We met up earlier this week on a super hot day. He wasn’t so sure about spending so much time out in the heat, but he was a trooper. We helped him out by letting him splash in the creek with his daddy (which he loved) and ended his shoot with a super special treat – a yummy cake to smash. And smash he did. Sometimes babes are so into the whole cake smash idea, but little Orion was all over it. It was too cute. Happy birthday, little man! I hope to be able to continue watching you grow. Here’s a sneak at his shoot!

Meet Abigail and Addison. I met these little sweeties this past weekend for an early morning shoot. We met early so that we could try to beat the heat, but it still ended up being a scorcher. Luckily, they were both super troopers. Abigail was about to celebrate her 5th birthday and Addison is 1. It was so cute watching Abigail with Addison. She’s such a great big sister and you can tell that she loves her little sis a lot. Lately I’ve been asking my little clients to help me choose a name for the baby in my belly. Abigail decided I should name him Jack because that’s the name of her boyfriend. So cute. We’ll see, Miss Abigail! I had a great time with this little family. Here’s a sneak peek at their shoot!

Meet Brianna & Jayden. I met these sweeties for the first time today. We were set to meet this afternoon, but luckily these guys were willing to bump their shoot up to the morning so that we could beat some of the heat. I had so much fun getting to know these two. Brianna is a little chatterbox (which I looove) and such a girly girl. She told me all about her favorite princesses, Ariel and Sleeping Beauty. Jayden is more of a quiet, serious type. There is nothing wrong with that! But luckily, I was able to pull a few smiles out of him. These 4 make such a gorgeous family and I had a great time with them today! Here’s a sneak peek.

Oh my goodness, this past year has flown by. Want some proof? Baby Ian! Check this little man out. I’ve been taking pictures of this little guy since he was just days old. It’s hard to believe that he has grown into such a little man. I just love this kid. He is so adorable and is always in a fantastic mood for our shoots. Despite the crazy heat we’ve been having, he did great for his 1 year shoot today. At 8 months pregnant, I can’t exactly say the same for myself. 🙂 I think his cake smash might have had something to do with it. He was all over that cake. Big brothers Aiden and Alex were pretty jealous of it, so being the sweet guy he is, Ian was willing to share at the very end. I’ve had so much fun watching you grow over the past year, Ian. I hope you always stay as sweet as you are today! Here’s a sneak peek at Ian’s 1 year shoot.
