Brooklyn! {Cincinnati Newborn Photographer}

· December 4, 2011 · 9:54 pm · Baby, Cincinnati Kids Photography, Cincinnati Modern Kids Photography, Newborn, Sweet

Meet Brooklyn.  Now this might be a little confusing.  Yesterday I had a shoot with baby Brooklyn-to-be, but don’t be fooled.  She did not appear overnight.  🙂  This Brooklyn was born 12 days ago.  Fresh & new & cute as can be.  We really wanted to get some sweet sleepy shots of her and she sure gave us a run for our money on that one.  We were just about to give up on her when she finally caved in and took a snooze.  Thank goodness she did too because those shots turned out to be super adorable.  I had a great time snuggling with her this morning and hanging out with her mommy & daddy, who are just smitten and over the moon for her.  Here’s a sneak peek at our shoot.

Presta Baby Bump! {Cincinnati Maternity Photographer}

· December 4, 2011 · 5:59 pm · Cincinnati Family Photography, Cincinnati Modern Family Photography, Maternity, Sweet

Meet the Presta family.  These two are expecting a little baby girl very, very soon.  Her name is going to be Brooklyn, so it was only appropriate that we started off our shoot on a bridge.  Thankfully we lucked out with what might be one of the last mild weather days of the year, so we were able to walk around and get a lot of shots to remember this special time in their lives.  These guys are just so excited to become parents.  I can’t wait to meet your little bundle real soon!  But not too soon … Brooklyn’s mommy has been having some early contractions.  So we hope those go away and Brooklyn stays put until she is good and cute!  Here’s a sneak peek at our shoot.

Aidan! {Cincinnati Baby Photographer}

· November 25, 2011 · 11:53 pm · Baby, Children, Cincinnati Kids Photography, Cincinnati Modern Kids Photography, Kids, Sweet

Happy Black Friday y’all!  I, for one, decided to skip out on shopping today.  Dealing with the crowds are not for me!  Instead, I spent some time with little Aidan who is in town from Florida.  He came with his mommy to visit his Grandma and Papaw for Thanksgiving.  While he was in town, his Grandma really wanted to get some pictures so that she can pull them out and see his sweet face whenever she is missing him!  Although it was a beautiful day for us, Aidan is used to Florida weather and wasn’t down for the crisp breeze.  Even though he tried to fight it, we got some cute pics of the little guy!  Here’s a sneak peek …

Lyla! {Cincinnati Newborn Photographer}

· November 20, 2011 · 8:06 pm · Baby, Cincinnati Kids Photography, Cincinnati Modern Kids Photography, Itty Bitty, Newborn, Sweet

Meet Lyla.  I am in love with little Miss Lyla.  She is just 5 days new … so teeny, squishy, and fresh.  Eeee!  I could have put her in my pocket and taken her home with me.  Lyla has a future in the baby model business for sure.  She was so good for her first photo shoot.  She slept like a champ (likely because she was up all night) and didn’t fuss when we covered her in flowers, bows, and tutus.  Her mommy & daddy were so sweet and so in love with their little bundle.  You can tell she already really has her daddy wrapped around her teeny tiny finger.  I had so much fun spending time with them this morning.  If you guys ever need a break from snuggling this little gal, I’m yours!  Here’s a sneak peek at our shoot.

Chloe & Chase! {Cincinnati Baby Photographer}

· November 20, 2011 · 1:53 am · Baby, Cincinnati Family Photography, Cincinnati Kids Photography, Cincinnati Modern Family Photography, Cincinnati Modern Kids Photography, Family, Sweet

Okay, so let’s talk about a small world.  This morning I met twin cuties Chloe & Chase and their mama & papa for the first time.  Not only did we figure out that we lived in Chicago at the same time, but we also lived in the same neighborhood within 2 blocks of one another.  Small world indeed folks.  They were such a sweet family and I enjoyed spending time with them, reminiscing about our glory days in Bucktown.  Chloe and Chase were all business, though.  We tried all of the tricks in the book to get these guys to smile.  We didn’t get many grins from them, but good thing they’re so cute that it doesn’t matter.  Here’s a sneak peek at our shoot!

Rosa & Mason! {Cincinnati Children’s Photographer}

· October 31, 2011 · 12:57 am · Children, Cincinnati Kids Photography, Cincinnati Modern Kids Photography, Kids, Sweet

Meet Rosa & Mason.  These two cuties are my little cousins.  So I was super excited to spend some time with them at the park this weekend, taking their pictures.  They were more into the park than they were me, but I can’t blame them.  It was a beautiful day and they just wanted to run around.  The good news is that I got plenty of exercise chasing them around and I managed to snap some cute photos while I was at it!  Here’s a sneak peek …

Shawn! {Cincinnati Senior Photographer}

· October 30, 2011 · 11:54 pm · Seniors

Meet Shawn.  Shawn is a senior in the fire department program at Butler Tech.  When I met him, I quickly realized that this whole senior picture thing wasn’t his idea, but something his mom put him up to.  I get it.  He’s a guy.  🙂  But he opened up during the session and I hope he ended up enjoying it.  We took some photos at his beautiful home then headed to a local fire station to get some pictures of him in his element before heading to a park.  The bonus was that while we were taking photos, his mom was talking him up to the firemen and working on getting him a job.  Score!  For Shawn’s sneak peek, I am posting some from his fire station shoot.  Here we go …

Leah! {Cincinnati Baby Photographer}

· October 28, 2011 · 6:42 pm · Baby, Cincinnati Kids Photography, Cincinnati Modern Kids Photography, Sweet

Meet Leah.  You might remember this cute little face, as we took her 9 month photos a few months ago.  Well, she’s 1 now!!!  And still as cute as a button.  During our last shoot, we went out in the sweltering heat and this time, we dealt with chilly temps.  But Leah is a trooper.  She didn’t mind either time.  I’m thinking that Leah’s mommy and daddy take lots of pictures of her because she knows exactly what to do and had her biggest smiles ready for me.  I had a great time with her and her mommy this morning and can’t wait until next time!  Here’s a sneak peek at her shoot!  Doesn’t she make the most precious little monkey you’ve ever seen?!

Ishaan! {Cincinnati Baby Photographer}

· October 25, 2011 · 10:33 pm · Baby, Cincinnati Family Photography, Cincinnati Modern Family Photography, Family, Sweet

Meet Ishaan.  He’s 10 months old.  You might remember him from his 5 month photo shoot this past spring.  He has grown so much since then.  And he’s already walking!  Can you believe it?  Go, Ishaan, go!  I met up with his sweet family at the park this afternoon to take advantage of the gorgeous fall weather we were having.  This little guy had fun showing me his dance moves, taking a bite out of each apple I brought along, and snuggling with his mommy & daddy.  He wasn’t too sure about the frog costume though.  But man was it cute!  Here’s a sneak peek at his shoot!
