Hey y’all!  So this year, my resolution is to give back.  And I’m going to use Sweet Things as a way to do so.  I recently heard some statistics that were pretty alarming and opened my eyes to the conditions that children in less fortunate countries deal with every day.

• Nearly 1 billion people don’t have safe water to drink.
• A child dies every 15 seconds from a lack of clean water.
• 1 in 4 children who die before age 5 worldwide, die of a water related disease.
• Children often walk miles every day to collect dirty water to drink

Having access to clean water is something that we all likely take very much for granted.  Yet for just $10.00, you can give clean water to someone who very much deserves it for 10 years!  Something so small and so simple can save a life.

So this year, $10.00 from every photo shoot that I do will go to this cause.  With your help, we will help children to live fuller, longer, healthier lives.  If you want to find out more, please visit http://thewaterproject.org/.
